Mother's day

 Let me start this blog on this very special day. Mother's day.

I am Aanya Shah, currently 12, enjoying the 7-8 grade summer vacation at the time of writing.

So like many, many months ago I made this blog. I had just about revealed my name on blogspot.com (it was a big thing for me- I have never been on any interweb platform with my real name), and wanted to do this combined blog thing with someone. Someone close.

So I asked my mom, while she was doing a presentation whether she would like to have a joint blog together. She agreed! So I made the domain, the blog, sent her an editing request, opened her mailbox and accepted it myself.

I was thinking about starting to post here many times. I first thought I could do it on mom's birthday, but I never got the time- perhaps I was just lazy. So today, after binging for an hour with my grandmom, I thought I could open my laptop and see if there was something that could humour me, and I landed here.

It is also quite symbolic-starting a mother-daughter blog on mother's day, right?
